Leading display board producer Oppboga Bruk and its sister company KAPAG Karton + Papier AG are presenting a remarkable range of sustainable paperboards.
From 23 to 26 May, visitors to FESPA Global Print Expo, Europe’s number one trade show for screen and digital wide-format printing, can discover, touch and take away samples of very different paperboards for sign & displays in hall A2, stand C-22.
Mr. Andrew Robinson, managing director of Oppboga Bruk, is delighted to offer a variety of new paperboards in addition to the trusted brand Oppboga Excellent™. “Inspired by our customers, we now produce Oppboga Excellent™ in a high white and Kraft brown finish.” Oppboga Excellent™ High White is ideal for brands that demand a bright surface for the reproduction of the highest quality images, for example, for cosmetic or health care goods. Oppboga Excellent™ Kraft, on the contrary, has a brown surface and a clean, pure centre. Its natural appearance resonates with brand owners and consumers alike.
Alongside this offering, KAPAG is presenting a range of exotic paperboards. “We strive to offer printers and brand owners unusual fibre-based products that draw attention and reflect their brand’s personality in the retail environment”, says Alexander Meyer, managing owner of KAPAG and majority shareholder of Oppboga. EcoLine Grass Duo contains sundried grass. “Customers appreciate the tactile natural surface of the product on which you can see the grass fibres”, says Mr Meyer. Among other eye-catchers are a display board with one black and one white side, true to the philosophy of yin and yang, or a silver-lined board for special promotions.
All paperboards presented by the sister companies are made from FSC-certified, renewable raw materials and can be recycled using existing waste paper infrastructure. As such, they are a perfect alternative to composite panels made from plastics or other non-renewable materials.
Visitors can also find information about environmental aspects at FESPA’s Sustainability Spotlight in hall B2, stand B61, where they will find Oppboga Resilient™, a plastic-free display board for outdoor advertising, Oppboga Excellent™ High White, the PET-free silver board EcoBoard White 1S Silver, as well as EcoLine Grass Duo.
Visitors to stand A2-C22 can inspect more than 10 types of paperboard, which are part of KAPAG and Oppboga’s newly launched Sign & Display compilation.
